Harbour Sports

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we were unable to continue attending tournaments against other schools. Instead, we took part in lots of physical sporting activities from our homes and uploaded our results. Once we returned to school, our children took part in regular mini tournaments at the end of each unit of work. We were thrilled to receive the Virtual School Games Award in 2020 and in 2021, recognising our continued commitment to competitive sports and personal improvement.

Tag-Rugby Festival

After cancellation of this event earlier on in the academic year. Harbour were delighted when we got the green light that this event would be re-scheduled before Christmas! Harbour took a talented squad of ten along, keeping key players from last year’s winning festival team, with a sprinkling of new year 5s and year 6s. The previous year 5s, now year 6s did not disappoint picking up where they left off last year and they helped out the new talent adapt quickly. Many of the children that took part had no previous tag-rugby experience. We played seven: winning six and drawing one, meaning yet again Harbour had the best record out of the teams there for the second year in a row!  I’m so proud of the wonderful squad of ten, particularly with the sportsmanship shown and the amount of tries shared about!
