Monday 23rd March 2020

We are now CLOSED for the majority of children. We are responding to the call from the Government to offer a service for vulnerable children and for the children of critical key workers. If you have responded to our survey issued on Friday 20th March and we have not called you - then your child will have the spaces that you have requested. Please arrive at school for 8.45 (unless you have indicated that you need breakfast club.)

All children were provided with learning packs, an exercise book and a pencil to start off their home learning. We will be publishing weekly updates to the home learning pack after the Easter break, here on this website.

If you are entitled to free school meals we have emailed you separately, and you can book a meal through the school office for your children every day. A packed lunch will then be prepared for you to come and collect from outside the main front office.

Safeguarding

If you have any concerns about the safety of Harbour children during this period of closure due to the Coronavirus, you should contact the school in the normal way and ask to speak to any of the Designated Safeguarding Leads (Christine Terrey, Emma Chaplin, Lyn White, Nicola Williams) or you can email dsl@harbour.e-sussex.sch.uk. You can also contact SPOA (single point of access) on 01323 464222.

Children please be aware if you have any concerns you can contact Childline on 0800 1111 or go to their website www.childline.org.uk.

We are so sad not to be seeing all of our wonderful children and families on a daily basis anymore. We will reply to emails to the office and answer telephone calls as long as we have the staff available to do this. Please all take great care and listen to the Government Guidance. We hope to see you all again as soon as possible.

From all of the staff at Harbour Primary.
